1. Preamble
These Terms & Conditions (“T&C”) constitute a binding legal agreement between the User and Skaff Conseil SASU, operator of the JoPrep platform. Accessing or using the Platform implies full and unconditional acceptance of these T&C.
2. Definitions
For the purposes of these T&C, the following terms shall have the meanings set out below:
- 2.1. “JoPrep” or the “Platform” means the online career services platform operated by Skaff Conseil SASU, including all associated websites, interfaces, APIs, databases, software, designs, and content.
- 2.2. “User” means any natural person of legal age and legal capacity, or any legal entity represented by a duly authorised individual, who creates an Account and/or uses the Services.
- 2.3. “Consumer User” means any natural person acting for purposes that are outside his or her trade, business, craft or profession, within the meaning of the French Consumer Code.
- 2.4. “Professional User” means any natural or legal person acting for purposes within the scope of their trade, business, craft or profession.
- 2.5. “Account” means the individual user account created on the Platform, protected by login credentials, allowing access to and management of the Services and purchases (Subscriptions and Packages).
- 2.6. “Services” means all features and functionalities offered by JoPrep, including but not limited to:
- (a) CV creation and optimization (the “CV Creation Service”);
- (b) Motivation / cover letter generation (the “Letter Creation Service”);
- (c) Interview simulations, both chat-based and voice-based (the “Interview Coach Service”);
- (d) LinkedIn profile analysis and recommendations (the “LinkedIn Profile Audit Service”);
- (e) Career planning and skills gap analysis, including JoScore and detailed reports (the “Career Planning Service”).
- 2.7. “Free Plan” means the free-of-charge service tier granting limited access to certain Services, namely: one CV with PDF download, one letter with PDF download, three interview chat sessions, and three voice interview sessions of up to fifteen (15) minutes each.
- 2.8. “Jo Premium Subscription” means the paid monthly subscription at the price indicated on the Platform (currently 15.99 euros including VAT), providing unlimited access to CV Creation (PDF and Word), Letter Creation (PDF and Word), Interview Coach (chat and voice), as well as LinkedIn Profile Audit and Career Planning & Skills Gap Analysis, together with JoScore and a comprehensive report, subject to fair use limitations defined by JoPrep.
- 2.9. “Interview Package” means the one-off paid package priced at 9.99 euros, granting the User access to fifteen (15) interview chat sessions and fifteen (15) voice interview sessions of up to forty-five (45) minutes each.
- 2.10. “CV & Letters Package” means the one-off paid package priced at 2.99 euros, granting access to the creation and download (PDF and Word) of three (3) CVs and three (3) letters.
- 2.11. “LinkedIn Audit & Career Package” means the one-off paid package priced at 4.99 euros, granting access for one (1) month to the LinkedIn Profile Audit Service and the Career Planning Service, including a JoScore and a comprehensive report with recommendations.
- 2.12. “AI Provider” means any third-party provider of artificial intelligence technologies used by JoPrep to deliver the Services, including but not limited to OpenAI.
- 2.13. “Generated Content” means any CV, letter, interview question, answer suggestion, JoScore, analysis, recommendation or report produced by the Platform, in whole or in part, by means of AI.
- 2.14. “User Content” means all information, data, texts, documents and materials uploaded, provided or input by the User into the Platform, including LinkedIn URLs, CVs, career goals, and audio recordings.
- 2.15. “Personal Data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”).
- 2.16. “Sub-processor” means any third party engaged by JoPrep to process data, including Personal Data, on behalf of JoPrep in connection with the Services (e.g. AI Providers, hosting providers, payment service providers, email providers).
- 2.17. “Subscription” means any recurring paid plan providing access to certain Services for a specified period, which renews automatically unless cancelled in accordance with these T&C.
- 2.18. “Package” means any one-off, non-renewing paid offer providing access to specific Services for a limited time and/or quantity.
- 2.19. “Force Majeure” means any unforeseeable, irresistible and external event within the meaning of Article 1218 of the French Civil Code, making performance of the contractual obligations impossible.
- 2.20. “Party” or “Parties” means individually the User or JoPrep, and collectively both of them.
3. Description of Services
3.1. Scope of Services
JoPrep provides digital tools designed to support Users in their professional development, job search, and career optimization. The Services include AI-assisted document creation, interview preparation tools, profile auditing, career planning, and analytics.
3.2. CV Creation Service
JoPrep enables Users to generate and optimize professional CVs using AI technologies. CVs are designed to comply with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and industry standards. Free Plan Users may download CVs only in PDF format; paid Users may download in both Word and PDF formats. JoPrep does not guarantee accuracy, suitability, or job placement outcomes arising from the use of generated CVs.
3.3. Motivation Letter Creation Service
The Platform generates customized cover letters based on User-provided job descriptions, experience, and career objectives. Letters generated through AI may require User verification and correction. JoPrep disclaims liability for inaccuracies or negative employment outcomes resulting from the use of generated documents.
3.4. Interview Coach Service (Chat & Voice)
The Interview Coach simulates interview environments through text-based (“Chat Interview”) and voice-based (“Voice Interview”) sessions.
- Free Plan: 3 chat sessions + 3 voice sessions (up to 15 minutes each).
- Interview Package: 15 chat sessions + 15 voice sessions (up to 45 minutes each).
- Premium: unlimited use subject to fair use limitations.
JoPrep may process voice input only for real-time generation; recordings are deleted immediately after processing.
3.5. LinkedIn Profile Audit Service
Users may request an AI-powered audit of their LinkedIn profile. The audit includes evaluation of headline, summary, experience, achievements, keywords, engagement, and optimization opportunities. The Service produces a JoScore indicating the profile’s overall strength. JoPrep shall not be responsible for changes in job-market algorithms affecting the accuracy or relevance of the Audit.
3.6. Career Planning & Skills Gap Analysis
The Platform analyzes User skills, experiences, and career goals to recommend a personalized career path and identify missing competencies. A comprehensive report may recommend training institutions or certification programs. The Platform does not provide professional career counseling within the scope of regulated professions.
3.7. JoScore
JoScore is a proprietary analytical metric generated from the User’s professional profile, based on multiple weighted factors. The score is not a scientific measurement, nor a guarantee of employability.
3.8. Third-Party Technology Integration
Some features rely on third-party AI Providers, including OpenAI. Any unavailability, error, or limitation resulting from third-party systems is outside JoPrep’s scope of liability.
4. Third-Party Services & AI Providers
4.1. Use of Third-Party Providers
The User acknowledges that certain Services rely partially or fully on third-party artificial intelligence providers (“AI Providers”), including but not limited to OpenAI, hosting providers, analytics tools, cloud infrastructures, and payment processors.
4.2. OpenAI Integration
JoPrep uses the API and models developed by OpenAI to enable CV generation, letter drafting, interview simulations, LinkedIn auditing, career planning, and other AI-driven functionalities.
- (a) OpenAI may process some of the User’s inputs solely for the purpose of generating output;
- (b) OpenAI does not retain User data for model training unless explicitly allowed by JoPrep (which is NOT the case);
- (c) the User remains responsible for verifying the accuracy of any AI-generated content.
4.3. No Liability for Third-Party Failures
JoPrep shall not be held liable for any unavailability, interruption, error, degradation, or malfunction caused by third-party systems, including AI Providers, hosting suppliers, email services, payment gateways, or external APIs.
4.4. Sub-processors and GDPR Compliance
Third-party service providers engaged by JoPrep may act as Sub-processors under GDPR. JoPrep ensures that each Sub-processor:
- (a) complies with GDPR and implements adequate technical and organisational security measures;
- (b) processes Personal Data strictly according to JoPrep’s instructions;
- (c) provides contractual guarantees of confidentiality and data protection.
4.5. Transfers of Data Outside the EU
If Personal Data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), JoPrep ensures that:
- (a) Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) are implemented;
- (b) additional safeguards are applied where necessary;
- (c) transfers occur only to countries with adequate protection.
4.6. User Responsibility When Using AI Features
The User acknowledges that AI-generated content:
- (a) may contain inaccuracies or inconsistencies;
- (b) may be incomplete or outdated;
- (c) does not constitute legal, professional, or personalised guidance.
The User is solely responsible for reviewing, correcting, and validating all AI-generated documents before any external use.
4.7. Licence to Process Data via AI Providers
By using AI-based Services, the User grants JoPrep a non-exclusive licence to transmit their input to third-party AI Providers exclusively for the purpose of generating output.
4.8. No Endorsement of Third-Party Policies
JoPrep is not responsible for the terms, use policies, or updates provided by third-party AI Providers. The User agrees to comply with OpenAI’s policies where relevant.
4.9. Changes to AI Providers
JoPrep reserves the right to change, replace, or add AI Providers at any time, without prior notice, to ensure continuity and improvement of Services.
5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
5.1. Nature of AI-Generated Output
The User expressly acknowledges that the Platform uses artificial intelligence models to generate CVs, letters, interview answers, LinkedIn analyses, career plans, JoScore outputs and other recommendations. AI-generated content (“Generated Content”) is produced automatically based on User inputs and statistical patterns.
5.2. No Guarantee of Accuracy
JoPrep does not guarantee that Generated Content is:
- (a) accurate, correct, or free of errors;
- (b) complete, up to date, or compliant with employer expectations;
- (c) aligned with the User’s specific employment goals;
- (d) suited for any particular professional purpose.
Generated Content may contain errors, omissions, hallucinations, outdated facts, approximations, or inaccurate interpretations.
5.3. Professional Responsibility of the User
The User is solely responsible for:
- (a) reviewing, editing, validating, and correcting all Generated Content;
- (b) ensuring that such content is appropriate, relevant, and truthful before sharing it externally;
- (c) verifying that all information provided to third parties (recruiters, HR departments, employers) is accurate and not misleading.
JoPrep shall not be held liable for any damages arising from the User’s failure to validate the content.
5.4. No Employment Guarantee
JoPrep expressly disclaims any guarantee regarding:
- (a) hiring outcomes;
- (b) interview success;
- (c) shortlisting;
- (d) recruiter responses;
- (e) professional advancement.
The Platform provides assistance only and does not replace human judgment or professional advice.
5.5. No Legal, HR, Financial or Career Advice
Generated Content shall not be interpreted as:
- (a) legal advice;
- (b) certified HR evaluation;
- (c) psychological assessment;
- (d) regulated professional counseling;
- (e) financial advice.
The User must consult qualified professionals for such matters.
5.6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by French law, JoPrep’s liability for any damages related to Generated Content is strictly limited to the amount paid by the User during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
JoPrep shall not be liable for:
- (a) indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages;
- (b) loss of employment, revenue, opportunity or reputation;
- (c) decisions made by recruiters or employers;
- (d) emotional or psychological impacts resulting from job search outcomes.
5.7. User Duty to Provide Truthful Data
The User warrants that all input data (CV details, experience, degrees, employment history, LinkedIn URLs, audio recordings, etc.) are accurate. JoPrep shall not be liable for errors resulting from false or misleading User data.
5.8. Machine-Learning Limitations
AI Providers, including OpenAI, may fail, generate inaccurate content, or produce inappropriate suggestions due to:
- (a) model limitations;
- (b) contextual ambiguity;
- (c) insufficient or unclear User prompts;
- (d) network or API interruptions;
- (e) external constraints beyond JoPrep’s control.
The User expressly accepts these inherent limitations.
6. Personal Data, Privacy & GDPR Compliance
6.1. Data Controller
Skaff Conseil SASU acts as the “Data Controller” under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and the French Data Protection Act (Loi Informatique et Libertés).

6.2. Categories of Personal Data Collected
JoPrep may collect and process the following categories of data:
- (a) Identification data: name, email, country, IP address.
- (b) Professional data: CV content, job history, skills, LinkedIn profile data, degrees, certifications.
- (c) Audio data: voice input used exclusively for real-time processing of interview simulations.
- (d) Usage data: interactions with the Platform, statistics, device information, login timestamps.
- (e) Transaction data: purchase history, subscription status (processed via third-party payment processors).
- (f) Technical data: browser type, OS, cookies, session identifiers.
6.3. Purposes of Data Processing
Personal Data is processed exclusively for the following purposes:
- (a) providing and improving the Services;
- (b) generating AI-powered career outputs;
- (c) processing purchases, subscriptions, and billing;
- (d) complying with legal obligations (accounting, taxation, fraud prevention);
- (e) handling user requests, support, and security incidents;
- (f) enhancing algorithms and user experience.
6.4. Legal Basis for Processing
Processing is based on:
- (a) Contractual necessity (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR);
- (b) Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) — security, fraud prevention, service improvement;
- (c) User consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — cookies, optional inputs;
- (d) Legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)).
6.5. Data Retention
JoPrep retains Personal Data strictly for the duration necessary to fulfil processing purposes:
- (a) Account data: retained while the account is active + 36 months after inactivity.
- (b) Invoices & financial data: retained for 10 years under French accounting law.
- (c) Voice input: deleted immediately after real-time processing.
- (d) Generated Content: retained only for the duration of the user’s access unless manually deleted.
6.6. Data Recipients
Data may be shared strictly on a need-to-know basis with:
- (a) authorised JoPrep personnel;
- (b) Sub-processors (AI Providers, hosting platforms, email delivery services, payment processors);
- (c) legal authorities in cases of fraud, disputes, or legal obligations.
6.7. Data Transfers Outside the EU
If data is transferred outside the EEA, JoPrep implements:
- (a) Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs);
- (b) risk assessments and supplementary safeguards;
- (c) transfer only to jurisdictions with adequate protection.
6.8. User Rights (GDPR)
Users may exercise the following rights:
- (a) Right of access;
- (b) Right to rectification;
- (c) Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”);
- (d) Right to restriction of processing;
- (e) Right to object;
- (f) Right to data portability;
- (g) Right to withdraw consent at any time;
- (h) Right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL.

6.9. Data Security
JoPrep implements state-of-the-art security measures including:
- (a) encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest;
- (b) restricted access controls;
- (c) anomaly and intrusion detection;
- (d) regular backups;
- (e) secure anonymisation for analytics.
6.10. Data Breach Notification
In case of a data breach involving Personal Data, JoPrep will:
- (a) notify the CNIL within 72 hours, if required;
- (b) notify affected Users without undue delay.
6.11. Confidentiality Obligations
All persons authorised to access Personal Data are bound by confidentiality obligations.
6.12. No Sale of Personal Data
JoPrep does not sell Personal Data under any circumstances.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1. Ownership of the Platform
The Platform, including all software, algorithms, databases, AI prompts, system architectures, charts, templates, UI/UX elements, written text, visual components, logos, trade names, trademarks, domain names, and the JoPrep brand as a whole (collectively, the “JoPrep Intellectual Property”), are the exclusive property of Skaff Conseil SASU or its licensors.
7.2. Ownership of Generated Content
- (a) The User retains ownership of all data and information they submit to the Platform, including CV data, experience, audio, text, and LinkedIn URLs.
- (b) Generated Content (CVs, letters, interview outputs, audits, career analysis, JoScore results) is created based on User Content and AI models.
- (c) The User obtains a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use, copy, and modify Generated Content for personal and professional use.
7.3. Licence Granted to the User
JoPrep grants the User a strictly personal, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable licence to access and use the Platform in compliance with these T&C.
The User may not, under any circumstances:
- (a) reproduce, copy, distribute, or sell any JoPrep Intellectual Property;
- (b) reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code;
- (c) create derivative works from JoPrep Intellectual Property;
- (d) scrape, extract, or harvest Platform data at scale;
- (e) use JoPrep content to train AI models or databases;
- (f) resell any part of the Platform or provide third parties access to paid features.
7.4. Protection of JoScore, Reports, and Analytic Methods
All methodologies involved in generating JoScore, career analytics, LinkedIn audit scoring, weighting logic, and recommendation algorithms are proprietary to JoPrep. Reproduction, imitation, disclosure, or redistribution of these components is prohibited without written consent.
7.5. User Content Licence to JoPrep
The User grants JoPrep a limited, revocable licence to store, process, modify, and display User Content strictly for the purpose of providing Services. JoPrep shall never use User Content for: (a) model training; (b) commercial resale; (c) distribution to third parties (except Sub-processors acting under GDPR-compliant agreements).
7.6. Infringement
Any unauthorised use of JoPrep Intellectual Property constitutes an infringement under French Intellectual Property Code (Code de la Propriété Intellectuelle). JoPrep reserves the right to initiate civil or criminal proceedings.
7.7. Survival
These intellectual property provisions survive termination of the User’s Account or these T&C.
8. Confidentiality
8.1. Confidential Information
“Confidential Information” means any information disclosed by either Party to the other in connection with the Services, whether oral, written, electronic, or otherwise, including but not limited to:
- (a) User Content, documents, personal data, and professional history;
- (b) JoPrep’s internal methods, algorithms, prompts, processes, business plans, pricing models, and system architecture;
- (c) technical information, security protocols, and Sub-processor relationships.
8.2. Confidentiality Obligations
Each Party undertakes to:
- (a) keep all Confidential Information strictly confidential;
- (b) use Confidential Information solely for the performance of these T&C;
- (c) restrict access to Confidential Information to employees or subcontractors with a need to know;
- (d) ensure all such persons are bound by equivalent confidentiality obligations.
8.3. Exclusions
Confidential Information does not include information that:
- (a) is already public without breach of these T&C;
- (b) was lawfully known by the receiving Party before disclosure;
- (c) is independently developed without reference to the other’s Confidential Information;
- (d) is rightfully obtained from a third party without breach;
- (e) must be disclosed due to legal, judicial, or regulatory requirements.
8.4. Legal Disclosure
If a Party is required to disclose Confidential Information due to a court order, law, or competent authority, it shall:
- (a) notify the other Party promptly unless prohibited;
- (b) disclose only the minimum required information.
8.5. Protection of User Content
JoPrep shall treat all User Content as Confidential Information. JoPrep shall not:
- (a) disclose User Content to third parties except Sub-processors;
- (b) use User Content for purposes other than providing the Services;
- (c) access User Content for non-operational purposes.
8.6. Duration of Confidentiality
Confidentiality obligations remain in force:
- (a) throughout the duration of the User’s use of the Platform;
- (b) for five (5) years after account closure or termination of these T&C.
8.7. Remedies
Breach of confidentiality may result in:
- (a) immediate suspension of the User’s account;
- (b) legal action, including damages or injunctions.
9. User Obligations & Prohibited Activities
9.1. Accuracy of Information
The User warrants that all information provided—CV details, professional history, skills, LinkedIn URL, job goals, personal data, and any uploaded files—is accurate, lawful, and truthful. The User accepts full responsibility for any consequences resulting from inaccurate or misleading information.
9.2. Ethical and Lawful Use
The User agrees to use the Platform only for lawful and ethical purposes. The User shall not:
- (a) submit false professional information to deceive recruiters;
- (b) impersonate another individual or misrepresent identity;
- (c) upload illegal, defamatory, hateful, or discriminatory content;
- (d) use the Platform in violation of labour, privacy, intellectual property, or anti-discrimination laws.
9.3. Account Security
The User shall:
- (a) maintain the confidentiality of login credentials;
- (b) prevent unauthorised access to their Account;
- (c) notify JoPrep immediately in case of suspected security breach;
- (d) remain fully responsible for all actions performed under their Account.
9.4. Prohibited Technical Behaviours
Users are strictly prohibited from:
- (a) scraping, mining, or harvesting data from the Platform;
- (b) copying or attempting to extract proprietary templates, prompts, or algorithms;
- (c) bypassing technical limitations, usage caps, or security systems;
- (d) reverse engineering or attempting to deconstruct AI outputs;
- (e) deploying bots, crawlers, scripts, or automated systems to access the Platform;
- (f) interfering with system performance, availability, or bandwidth.
9.5. Prohibited Commercial Uses
The User may not:
- (a) resell or distribute JoPrep outputs commercially;
- (b) use JoPrep content to train AI systems or datasets;
- (c) reproduce JoPrep-branded materials for third-party career services;
- (d) act as a service provider using JoPrep outputs without express prior written approval.
9.6. Prohibited Behaviour in Interview Coach
The User may not:
- (a) upload or speak illegal, violent, discriminatory, or harmful content;
- (b) attempt to manipulate AI systems for forbidden content generation;
- (c) record or extract JoPrep’s interview logic or proprietary prompts.
9.7. System Abuse
Any attempt to overload, disable, disrupt, or degrade system performance constitutes a breach. JoPrep may immediately suspend the account.
9.8. Legal Liability of the User
The User shall indemnify and hold JoPrep harmless against any claim, damage, loss, cost or liability arising from:
- (a) User’s unlawful behaviour;
- (b) misinformation in job applications;
- (c) misuse of the Platform;
- (d) breach of these T&C;
- (e) violation of third-party rights.
9.9. Enforcement and Sanctions
In case of breach, JoPrep reserves the right to:
- (a) suspend or terminate the Account without notice;
- (b) block access to Services;
- (c) delete unlawful or harmful content;
- (d) pursue legal action.
10. Payment Terms, Subscriptions & Billing
10.1. Payment Methods
Payments for Subscriptions and Packages are processed through secure third-party payment processors (Stripe or equivalent). JoPrep does not store any credit/debit card information.
10.2. Pricing
All prices displayed on the Platform are expressed in euros (€), inclusive of VAT unless indicated otherwise. JoPrep reserves the right to modify pricing at any time. Existing Subscribers will be notified prior to any price increase.
10.3. Subscription Activation
A Subscription is considered active: (a) upon successful payment; (b) upon confirmation email; or (c) upon immediate access to premium features.
10.4. Automatic Renewal
The Jo Premium Subscription renews automatically every month, unless cancelled by the User before the renewal date. The User authorises JoPrep and its payment partners to charge their payment method for all recurring fees.
10.5. Cancellation of Subscription
The User may cancel the Subscription at any time directly within their account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No partial or prorated refunds will be issued for mid-cycle cancellations.
10.6. One-Time Packages (Non-Recurring)
Packages such as: (a) Interview Package (9.99€), (b) CV & Letters Package (2.99€), (c) LinkedIn Audit & Career Planning Package (4.99€) are one-time purchases that do not auto-renew. They remain valid until fully consumed or until their respective validity period expires (where applicable).
10.7. Expiry of Packages
The LinkedIn Audit & Career Planning Package is valid for one (1) month from purchase. Unused services after expiry are forfeited without refund.
10.8. No Refund Policy
Unless required by law, JoPrep does not issue refunds for: (a) partial use of Premium Subscription; (b) unused Package credits; (c) accidental purchases; (d) dissatisfaction with AI-generated content.
10.9. EU Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with EU Consumer Law, Users have a 14-day withdrawal right for digital services. However, by accessing the Services immediately after purchase, the User expressly waives this right pursuant to Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code.
10.10. Failed Payments
If a payment cannot be processed, JoPrep may: (a) retry the charge; (b) suspend access to premium features; (c) terminate the Subscription if payment is not resolved.
10.11. Taxes
The User is responsible for any applicable taxes based on their billing address. Invoices are automatically generated and available for download.
10.12. Fraud Prevention
JoPrep reserves the right to refuse or cancel a payment in the event of suspected fraud, unauthorised use of a payment method, or violation of these T&C.
10.A. Pricing and Commercial Conditions
- 10.A.1. Applicable Prices: The applicable prices for Subscriptions, Packages, and any paid Services are those displayed on the JoPrep Platform at the time of purchase or subscription. Prices are expressed in euros (€) and include all applicable taxes, including VAT, unless stated otherwise.
- 10.A.2. Price Display: JoPrep ensures that all prices are clearly displayed before the User confirms any order, in compliance with the applicable EU and French consumer protection laws. The User acknowledges that they have been fully informed of the prices prior to any payment.
- 10.A.3. Price Modifications: JoPrep reserves the right to modify its pricing at any time. Any modification of prices will apply only to new purchases or subscription renewal cycles. For recurring subscriptions, Users will be notified of price changes prior to the next billing date.
- 10.A.4. No Binding by Prior Prices: JoPrep is not bound by any erroneous or outdated price displayed due to technical or typographical errors. In such a case, the order may be cancelled, and the User will be informed.
- 10.A.5. Promotional Offers: Promotional offers are subject to conditions displayed on the Platform and are valid only for the specified period.
- 10.A.6. Taxes and Currency: Prices may vary depending on the User’s country of residence due to tax or regulatory requirements. The User is responsible for any applicable additional taxes.
11. Termination, Suspension & Account Deletion
11.1. Termination by the User
The User may terminate their Account at any time by requesting deletion through their account settings or by contacting JoPrep support. Account deletion is permanent and results in:
- (a) loss of access to all Services and Generated Content;
- (b) deletion of stored User Content except where retention is required by law;
- (c) cessation of access to Subscriptions and Packages with no refunds for unused periods.
11.2. Termination by JoPrep
JoPrep may terminate or suspend the User’s Account immediately and without prior notice in the event of:
- (a) breach of these T&C;
- (b) unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful behaviour;
- (c) security threats or attempts to compromise the Platform;
- (d) failure to pay for paid Services;
- (e) violation of third-party rights or applicable laws.
11.3. Suspension of Services
JoPrep may temporarily suspend access to the Platform for: (a) maintenance or updates; (b) investigation of suspicious activity; (c) technical issues or force majeure events.
11.4. Effects of Termination
Upon termination:
- (a) the User loses access to all features, including premium content;
- (b) Packages and credits expire automatically;
- (c) JoPrep may retain Personal Data only as necessary for legal compliance;
- (d) confidentiality, intellectual property, liability, and payment obligations survive termination.
11.5. Data Preservation After Termination
In compliance with GDPR, JoPrep retains minimal account data for:
- (a) 36 months for evidence and dispute resolution;
- (b) 10 years for financial records (invoices, transactions).
All Generated Content and stored CVs/letters/interview data are deleted unless required for legal purposes.
11.6. Appeal Procedure
The User may request clarification or contest account termination by contacting: support@joprep.com. JoPrep is not obligated to reinstate an account.
12. Limitation of Liability & Force Majeure
12.1. General Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under French law, JoPrep’s total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the use of the Platform, the Services, or these T&C shall not exceed the total amount paid by the User during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
12.2. Exclusion of Indirect Damages
JoPrep shall not be liable for any:
- (a) indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages;
- (b) loss of income, employment, profits, opportunities, data, or reputation;
- (c) emotional, psychological, or moral damages;
- (d) decisions made by recruiters, HR departments, or employers.
12.3. No Liability for AI-Generated Content
JoPrep shall not be responsible for inaccuracies, omissions, hallucinations, misleading suggestions, or incorrect interpretations produced by AI Providers. The User is solely responsible for verifying and validating all AI-generated outputs.
12.4. No Guarantee of Employment or Professional Outcome
JoPrep does not guarantee: (a) job offers or interview invitations; (b) successful recruitment processes; (c) improvements in professional performance; (d) acceptance by employers or institutions.
12.5. Third-Party Failures
JoPrep shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, or errors caused by: (a) AI Providers (including OpenAI); (b) hosting providers; (c) payment processors; (d) internet connectivity; (e) third-party APIs or platforms (e.g., LinkedIn).
12.6. System Interruptions
JoPrep does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Platform. Maintenance, updates, server downtime, cyberattacks, or technical failures may occur.
12.7. User Liability
The User shall indemnify and hold JoPrep harmless against claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:
- (a) misuse of the Platform;
- (b) illegal or fraudulent activities;
- (c) inaccurate User Content;
- (d) violation of these T&C or third-party rights.
12.8. Force Majeure
JoPrep shall not be liable for failure to perform any obligation due to force majeure as defined by Article 1218 of the French Civil Code, including but not limited to:
- (a) natural disasters, fires, floods;
- (b) pandemics or epidemics;
- (c) governmental restrictions or sanctions;
- (d) wars, riots, or civil unrest;
- (e) cyberattacks, DDoS attacks, or major network failures;
- (f) large-scale outages affecting cloud or AI Providers.
During a force majeure event, obligations shall be suspended. If the event exceeds thirty (30) days, JoPrep may terminate Services without liability.
13. Governing Law, Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction
13.1. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Mandatory consumer protection rules under EU and French law remain applicable to Consumer Users.
13.2. Amicable Resolution
Before initiating any legal action, the Parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes amicably by contacting JoPrep customer support at: support@joprep.com. JoPrep will make reasonable efforts to resolve issues informally within thirty (30) days.
13.3. Jurisdiction for Professional Users
Any dispute between JoPrep and a Professional User relating to the interpretation, validity, execution, or termination of these T&C shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tribunal Judiciaire de Paris, France.
13.4. Jurisdiction for Consumer Users
Consumer Users may:
- (a) bring a claim before the court of their place of residence; or
- (b) choose the competent French court under the French Consumer Code.
13.5. EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR)
In accordance with EU Regulation No. 524/2013, Consumer Users may access the ODR platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/
13.6. Severability
If any provision of these T&C is held unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
13.7. No Waiver
Failure by JoPrep to enforce any right or clause of these T&C shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
13.8. Language
These T&C are provided in English and French. In case of contradiction, the French version shall prevail.
14. Miscellaneous
14.1. Entire Agreement
These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Parties regarding the use of the Platform and Services, and supersede all prior or contemporaneous oral or written understandings, communications, or agreements.
14.2. Amendments
JoPrep may update or modify these T&C at any time to reflect changes in Services, legal requirements, or technical improvements. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or Platform notification. Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised T&C.
14.3. Assignment
JoPrep may assign or transfer its rights and obligations under these T&C to a third party, including in the context of merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets. The User may not assign their rights or obligations without JoPrep’s prior written consent.
14.4. Notices
All official communications shall be made electronically and are considered legally valid when sent to:

- — For the User: the email address associated with their Account.
Electronic notices have the same legal value as written postal communication.
14.5. Survival
The following provisions shall survive termination of the Account or these T&C: (a) Intellectual Property; (b) Confidentiality; (c) Limitation of Liability; (d) Indemnification; (e) Governing Law & Jurisdiction.
14.6. Interpretation
Headings and titles in these T&C are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation. Words in the singular include the plural and vice versa. No presumption is made against either Party for the drafting of these T&C.
14.7. Relationship Between the Parties
Nothing in these T&C creates a partnership, joint venture, employment relationship, or agency relationship between JoPrep and the User.
14.8. Electronic Acceptance
The User acknowledges that electronic acceptance of these T&C has the same legal force as a handwritten signature.
